Naema Qureshi, M.D.
Dr. Naema Qureshi is a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. She provides the full spectrum of psychiatric treatment, including comprehensive diagnostic assessment, individual and family psychotherapy, and medication management. She has a special interest in working with children with complex medical needs and with patients with eating disorders. She utilizes a HAES (Health at Every Size) approach.
Approach
The therapeutic relationship is of paramount importance in psychiatric treatment, and progress can only be made if we are all working together toward a common goal. Dr. Qureshi has a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental style. She takes the time needed to really listen, perform a thorough diagnostic assessment, share her recommendations, and answer any questions. She also collaborates closely with other clinicians involved in her patient's care.
